1. PERSONAL DATA

1.1 Personal information collected from you is for our use only and will not be passed on to third parties.

1.2 Video cameras and recording equipment may be used for the benefit of class projects and will not be passed on to third parties. Videos and photographs may be published on our website and social media pages. Please contact us for any sensitive issues surrounding filming projects. You will have specified your filming preference at the time of registering your child and you are free to contact us at any time to change these preferences.

2. COURSE BOOKING, DEPOSITS AND CANCELLATION

2.1 Course bookings require a deposit equal to one month of the service fees. This deposit is returned to you at the end of your notice period.

2.2 Payments are made either in full, up front or by monthly direct debit. You are billed for 3 terms and payment is split across 12 months for consistency. The final payment of the academic year (3 terms) is August. The new payment year begins in September.

2.3 Should you wish to end your journey with Lemon Jelly, 1 months notice is required and you will be billed accordingly. Failure to make payment during the notice period will result in us keeping your deposit.

2.4 Classes cancelled because of adverse weather conditions and unexpected school closures will not be refunded. Should this happen, we will endeavour to add another class at no extra cost.

2.5 Absence due to illness or personal matters will not be refunded.

2.6 We will not accept any student onto our course if they have not registered with us. You are responsible for updating us with any new medical information as appropriate and necessary. This can be done via your membership account portal on our website.

2.7 Holiday workshops, LAMDA lessons and Exams should be paid in full before the course starts. Refunds will be given if cancellation is made 14 days before the course start date. Anything after this period is at the discretion of the franchisee.

2.8 LAMDA Exams cannot be refunded once a student has been entered for an examination and fees have been passed directly to LAMDA. This happens 7 weeks before the exam date.

3. INSURANCE AND LIABILITY

3.1 We should be provided with any necessary medical information for each student. This should be updated on the parent portal here under medical notes.

3.2 Lemon Jelly staff hold a basic certificate in first aid and are insured for public liability. All of our Staff are checked by CRB and hold a DBS certificate. Staff are required to carry this at all times and present when requested. We are an activity based company and not a childcare provider, therefore we do not accept childcare vouchers and are exempt from OFSTED

3.3 We aim to provide equal opportunities for all students and will accept responsibility for the personal progression of each student during our classes.

3.4 Health and Safety is of paramount importance in our classes. All classes run to the recommended child: leader ratio. Our venues are fully secure and we run risk assessments for all venues.

3.5 We will not accept any accusations or issues regarding payment, class times, or any other part of the course to be made towards our teachers. Any Student/Parent behaving improperly toward our teachers will be excluded from our classes.

3.6 All students must leave mobile phones on a table in the studio or in their bags for the duration of the class. Use of Mobile phones is not permitted for any reason. For each area, an emergency contact number will be give should you need to contact us during the class.

3.7 We will not accept responsibility for the loss of personal items. All valuables should be left at home.

3.8 While we will never leave a child unattended, we will not be responsible for a child's travel to and from the class and any additional care outside of the stated class times. It is important that any delay in collection is communicated.

4. GENERAL

4.1 We will update you with any changes to these terms and conditions as they may arise.

4.2 Children are advised to bring a drink and a snack for Lemon Jelly Club days and they are welcome to have these quietly, during our circle time, when the leader will call the register.

5. CLASS INSTRUCTIONS

5.1 Students will be informed of the meeting points or collection times for Lemon Jelly classes. We will not be responsible for any student who does not turn up to the meeting point at the given time.

5.2 Parents will collect students on time and inform us of any difficulty in collecting. Some classes may require parents to sign their children out or for students to sign themselves out.

5.3 All students should be appropriately dressed for classes. Jeans are not accepted. Lemon Jelly Uniform should be worn with indoor shoes appropriate for dance.

By registering my child to Lemon Jelly Classes, I agree to the terms above.
